Disney's Vacation Protection Plan provides low-cost coverage designed to protect you in the
event your San Diego vacation is cancelled or interrupted.
A description of the coverage plan has been included below:
Coverage Includes:
- Trip Cancellation and Interruption - Covers you up to the total cost of
the trip due to certain covered reasons. This includes airfare as long as it is
purchased as part of the Walt Disney Travel Company package (except if your flight is
changed, cancelled or delayed by the airline - please consult one of our vacation specialists
to determine the type of airfare you are purchasing).
- $600 Travel Delay - Reimburses up to $200 a day for additional accommodations
and traveling expenses due to travel delays.
- $2,000 Baggage and Travel Documents - If anything is lost, stolen (including your
passports and visas) or broken during your Disneyland® Resort adventure you're
covered up to $2,000.
- $500 Baggage Delay - Reimburses for the purchase of essential items if your
bags are delayed for more than 24 hours.
- $10,000 Medical Expenses - Pays for doctor, hospital, ambulance services
and prescription medication with no daily limits or deductibles.
- $20,000 Emergency Medical Transportation - Provides coverage for medical
transport and complete case handling to ensure that your family is taken care of properly.
- $25,000 Medical Expenses - Accidental death and dismemberment coverage.
- Livetravel - Your 24-hour travel customer service hotline. A direct customer
service hotline staffed with trained travel counselors. Livetravel offers a full range
of emergency travel, medical assistance services, tracking lost luggage, etc.
- Travel Guard Assistance - 24-hour emergency hotline.
*Price is per adult. Children ages 17 and under are included when all adults on a booking purchase
the insurance. If you choose to purchase this insurance coverage, you must do so by no later than your
final payment due date. You will receive a Certificate of Insurance with your final documents which
describes your benefits and exclusions in detail. We urge you to to carefully review this document.
Some restrictions apply based on the type of airline ticket purchased. Insurance is non-refundable
once a deposit has been applied to your package.
