There are two Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas buildings to choose from: Jambo House is the original building of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. In 2007, some of the guest rooms were converted into 216 villas for Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. There are still over 950 guest rooms in the Jambo House as part of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Kidani Village is separate from Jambo House, with its own front desk for check-in and additional amenities. Kidani Village has 493 villas. The properties are located adjacent to Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, and offer several on-site dining alternatives, retail shops and various recreational opportunities. 		Jambo House Guest Rooms: Deluxe Studio - Standard View All Villas have a queen-size bed, a double-size sleeper sofa, mini-kitchen, bathroom, vanity area with 2 sinks, kitchen bar with chairs, table and chairs, a ceiling fan, wet bar and a private balcony. All rooms are non-smoking. Amenities include DVD player, flat-screen TV, in-room wall safe, voicemail, high-speed Internet access (additional fee), hairdryer, iron, ironing board, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and Pack 'n Play® playard. Some rooms offer a phone in the bath area. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. A crib is available upon request. These Villas offer views of the Resort hotel, pool or landscaping. The average studio is 316 square feet in size. Sleeps 9. All Villas are non-smoking. Wheelchair-accessible 2-bedroom Villas are available. Amenities include in-room wall safe, voice mail, high-speed Internet access (additional fee), alarm clock, DVD player, hairdryer, iron, ironing board and Pack 'n Play® playard. A full-size crib is available on request. Two-Bedroom Standard View Villas offer a view of a parking area. Two-bedroom villas are approximately 1,173 square feet in size. View Floor Plan Two-Bedroom Lockoff Vacation Home: Defined as a studio plus one-bedroom villa, value rooms sleep up to eight guests, plus one infant under the age of three (in a crib). All other rooms accommodate up to nine guests plus one infant under the age of three (in a crib). The Master bedroom suite features a king-size bed, flat-panel TV, and master bath with whirlpool tub. There is one additional bathroom (vacation homes located in Kidani Village will have a third bathroom) and a second bedroom with one queen-size bed, a flat-panel TV, and a full-size sleeper sofa. A queen-size sleeper sofa can be found in the living room with a sleeper chair (except in value accommodations). The full kitchen includesa coffee maker, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The laundry area contains a stacked washer and dryer, and each villa has a private balcony. Two-bedroom lockoff vacation homes are approximately 945-1,173 square feet in size. All rooms are non-smoking. Grand Villa: Villa sleeps up to 12 guests, plus one infant under the age of three (in a crib). Grand Villa vacation homes located in Jambo House will be one-level while Grand Villas located in Kidani Village will be two-level. The Master bedroom suite features a king-size bed, flat-panel TV, and master bath with whirlpool tub. There are three additional bathrooms and two additional bedrooms, each with two queen-size beds and a flat-panel TV. A queen-size sleeper sofa, flat-panel TV, and a DVD player, can be found in the living room. Vacation homes located in Kidani Village have an additional sitting area upstairs with a queen-size sleeper sofa. There is also a dining room with table and chairs, and a full kitchen featuring a coffee maker, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The laundry area contains a stacked washer and dryer, and each villa has a private balcony. Grand villas are approximately 2,201-2,349 square feet in size. All rooms are non-smoking.
		Resort Dining Jiko - The Cooking Place is a specialty restaurant (dinner only) featuring authentic African wine and cuisine as well as an interactive kitchen. Boma - Flavors of Africa, a family restaurant, offers multi-cultural dining with a breakfast and dinner buffet. Sanaa at Kidani Village features African cooking with an Indian influence. The Mara is a quick-service restaurant and Victoria Falls Lounge serves African coffees and teas during the day, and beverages at night. Uzima Springs offers poolside cocktails and beverages.
		Children's Activities and Services The resort is home to Simba's Cubhouse, a supervised children's activity center featuring games, arts and crafts, and videos. The program is available for children ages 3 -12 from 4:30 pm to 12:00 am (additional fee applies). Individual childcare services are also available (additional fee applies, advance reservations required). There is also an arcade, children's pool, and children's playground located on-site.
		Water Recreation Jambo House: Uzima, an 11,000-square-foot, zero-depth entry pool includes a 67-foot long slide and is the perfect place to cool off and have fun. Surrounded by large canopy trees and Floridian palms, Uzima includes a wading pool for young ones while 2 adjacent hot tubs provide a haven for relaxation. Kidani Village: Samawati Springs, a 4,700-square-foot, zero-depth entry pool with a 128-foot long slide is the perfect place to cool off and have fun. Surrounded by large canopy trees and Floridian palms, Samawati Springs includes 2 adjacent hot tubs providing a haven for rest and relaxation.
		Other Activities Enjoy the health club, spa, community hall family recreation center and Disney movies during your stay. There are additional activities for you to take advantage of, including: Access to five Disney Championship Golf Courses Access to Disney miniature golf courses
		Shopping Zawadi Marketplace features authentic African inspired gifts. If shopping on a larger scale is desired, you can hop aboard the Walt Disney World® Transportation System for a visit to Downtown Disney®, where you'll find a wide variety of specialty shops!
		Transportation Guests of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas can take advantage of complimentary transportation to the Disney Theme Parks via motorcoach. Complimentary transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport is available via Disney's Magical Express Service.
		Accessibility Rooms are available for guests with disabilities (subject to availability). The resort also features a zero-depth entry swimming pool.
