Even the ghosts at the Haunted Mansion will tell you this is one lively place. The hottest
jazz sounds, the best in Southern cuisine, Mardi Gras souvenirs waiting to be unmasked,
and attractions with timeless character and appeal.
If it's a Pirate's Life you seek, be sure to visit the popular Pirates of the Caribbean
attraction. Hop aboard your wooden boat and hang on to your boots. The most inept bunch of
pirates to ever set sail have just raided a Caribbean village, and you could be next on their
list. But in spite of their raucous mood, these blokes are quite harmless and are a barrel of laughs.
Attention all you brave souls! Welcome to the Haunted Mansion, home to 999 spooks, where
there's always room for one more. Inside, you'll hop on a Doom Buggy to get in the spirit of
things. Outside the mansion, be sure to check out the cemetery. You'll die laughing when you
read the epitaphs. From October through December, Jack Skellington and his frightful friends from
Tim Burton's "A Nightmare Before Christmas" decorate the mansion and give it their own twisted
twist for the holiday season.
The famous Blue Bayou restaurant provides the perfect atmosphere for guests who are
seeking that "Magical" Disneyland® dining experience. Sit back and enjoy a Southern evening
setting complete with shooting stars and fireflies. If you would like a preview of the restaurant,
take a peek across the bayou while you're boarding the Pirates of the Caribbean
attraction.
While visiting New Orleans Square, be sure to check out The Disney Gallery, one of
Disneyland's hidden treasures. Here you'll find paintings, models and exhibits from Disney's
past, present, and future.
